Dianna OS #3

On July 22, I observed Marilyn’s Foundations speaking class. I was very interested to see how this level was taught since the students did not know a lot of English. There were only four students in the class, so each person had a lot of time to practice. They worked with simple grammar and created sentences. The teacher would write their sentences on the board and discuss what was right and wrong about them. They practiced speaking by asking me questions as well. They each had a dictionary, and I thought it was really interesting that it was full of pictures, not just words, which was very appropriate for this level.
