Joel TS#12

I met up with Yuma again for this tutoring session. He said that he wanted to be able to make longer sentences because he felt like his sentences were too short and simple. I asked him if he had an essay that he could show me so that I could see what his writing was like. As I was reading his essay I noticed that most of his sentences were quite short but could be made longer by simple adding some conjunctions here and there. We worked through the essay and I showed him which conjunctions he could use and where and why. And then, after we got through with the essay I gave him some practice sentences and asked him to connect them using some conjunctions. By the end he seemed to have a fairly good grasp of it.
