Kamesh TS #3
As stated in the last blog post, me and Matthew were tutoring for two hours that day, splitting the aspects of English language learning. The first hour went over his reading skills, and I decided to make the second half of the tutoring session a listening lesson. For this listening exercise, I first talked to Matthew about what he enjoys to do on the weekend. He said many things, including reading and playing video games. We then started an exercise where he would listen to specific things I said and would have to draw them. When doing this exercise, I made sure that most of the things that I said were scene setting, so that the picture would come out to be a beautiful sunny beach. He drew a multitude of pictures based on what I was saying, but I noticed he was so ready to draw that he did not listen to everything I said about the scene.
