On August 3rd, I had my first tutoring session with Dojun over Skype. Overall, I was very nervous to tutor Dojun, as I was only accustomed to tutoring a child, and I was also worried about the format change. Teaching an adult over video chat seemed like an impossible task. I realized after tutoring that my anxiety was unwarranted, as the first session with Dojun went very well. Much like I did with Matthew, I gave Dojun a diagnostic test so I could see what level his English skills were at. I read through all of the questions with Dojun, with most of them being grammar or reading based. I was surprised at Dojun's grasp of English grammar, he only made a few small errors and was flawless otherwise. I finished by asking him what he particularly would like to go over, and he told me that listening and reading were his weak skills. I would keep this mind for the next time I would tutor Dojun.
