I met Matthew for tutoring on August 10th for our last solo meeting, as after talking to his mother, we decided my last two tutoring sessions would be with both of the twins.  We finally finished the planning for the essay that me and Matthew had been going over for a few sessions. After finishing his body paragraphs and correcting for error, I worked on his conclusion with him. I told him that a conclusion should not just reiterate what he stated in his introduction, and to conclude his essay with other supporting details or a however sections where he presents the two ideas from the opposing point of view. His essay was not as strong as I had anticipated, but he understands how to write a compare/contrast essay from that point on. We finished to tutoring session with a reading comprehension exercise about the holiday of Mardi Gras.
