Kamesh TS #16

My final tutoring session was on August 12th with both David and Matthew once again. I decided to once again pit the twins against one another in order to keep their interest. I brought the card game Apples to Apples with me, a game that shows a word and the players must play a card with the word that best describes the word given. This game helped their vocabulary much better than I had initially anticipated, as they would be able to use context clues on the individual cards to figure out words that they did not know. They struggles with a few words, such as pessimistic and exhilarating, as they would attribute a different meaning to the word than what it meant in context. After playing the game and going over the vocabulary cards with them David was pronounced the winner, as he had gotten more points over the entirety of the game and won a candy prize at the end.
