For this tutoring session I observed Jennifer and Boram.
Boram said she just wanted to work on speaking so we just conversed for most of
the time. She asked Jennifer some questions about speaking two languages and
Jennifer asked her some questions as well. Boram also had some questions about
certain American slang expressions and things that we might say while texting. So we talked
about that as well as Korean slang and compared them. It was Jennifer’s first
session with Boram but it seemed to go very smoothly. Boram’s English was very
good and she only made a few small mistakes and was usually able to correct
herself.
