On July 22, I had a tutoring session with Abdullah. In our last session, he told me he wanted to work on his writing skills, so I gave him a topic from a practice TOEFL test to write about. The topic was: If you could choose another topic to study, what would you choose?” I timed him while he wrote a brainstorm and completed writing about the topic. Afterward, we went through the paper together; I corrected his mistakes, and we talked about things he should work on for next time. For the rest of the session, I had him work on sample TOEFL grammar questions. It proved to be a little difficult for him, so we went through them together.
