Dianna TS #12

On July 20, I observed TV’s tutoring session with her child. We met at the library. They focused on vocabulary such as weather and days of the week. I noticed that tutoring a child was lot more difficult than tutoring an adult. TV had to keep her tutee’s attention and keep her interested in the material. To do this, they played different games to practice the vocabulary and productive skills. They played hang man and fill in the blank. TV would also draw a picture and her tutee had to write a sentence describing the picture. I thought her tutee spoke very well.
