On July 27, I observed Jaclyn’s tutoring session with Boram.
Since Boram speaks and understand English very well, they focused on
nit-picking each error. They focused on speaking and talked about different
aspects of Korean vs. American culture. I really enjoyed listening and I
learned a lot of new things. Jaclyn took notes of their conversation throughout
the tutoring session, and at the end she discussed the different mistakes with
Boram. She also suggested different ways of wording things to make more sense.
I thought this was a great way to tutor someone at such an advanced level.
