Kamesh CP #6
My final meeting with Marco for conversation purposes was on August 12th, as we had become such good friends by this point that I knew we would meet again. We talked about a night he had recently where he became friends with random people he had never met. This was interesting, as most of the time in America, it is common to have conversations with people that one has never met before. Marco talked about how it is different in Panama, many people stick to the group that they came with and do not socialize with strangers. We talked about how those two mindsets have been ingrained into their respective cultures. Marco stated that it was weird at first when he came to America because random people would say something to him, but he assimilated to the culture soon enough and now loves getting into conversations with people he doesn't know. We then talked about biscuits (as that is what we were eating) and how he is happy he came to America to try them, as they do not have fresh made biscuits in Panama.
