Kamesh CP #4
I met Marco and some other people from our TEFL class at MoMo's pizza to converse with Marco some more. As we ate our pizza and talked about our respective weekends, we got onto a conversation about food and how it is different in Panama. Marco said that Panamanians are big fans of fruits in general, which is why he got pineapple on his pizza. He also stated how much he loved American cuisine because of the diversity. He stated that in Panama, many to all of the meals are served with rice and beans. I was curious as to why this was, asking whether Panamanian families did this because they felt that rice and beans were essential to the meal. He stated that was not the main reason, it was mainly because Panamanian families have been serving their food like that for generations and it has just become a trend.
