Jordan TS#2

Last Friday I tutored Do-jun for the second time. I started out with a movie clip for listening practice and was told that the conversation was moving too fast for him. I felt like the whole world was crashing down. He watched the clip two or three more times and finally got the gist of what was going on but no where near the depth that was needed to get into any conversation with it. Thus I had to throw out my entire plan for the hour all of ten to fifteen minutes in. I managed to salvage the day by telling a story about my life and having a discussion about it. Then I had him tell me about his work in flight dispatch and scheduling.
Do-jun is still a very slow speaker and takes many long pauses as he puts his sentences together. His listening skills do not appear to be quite at the level I thought they were. He seems to be understanding me when I speak, so I hope he's not sitting there confused while I'm talking to him.
