Nayun was all sweaty when she came to study today, Wednesday, July 22nd. The past few sessions she has been getting a little restless so I wanted to try the game technique that worked so well with my other child tutee. We played go fish and I taught her how to ask politely what card I have etc... She at first was confused about the game, but she soon learned to love it. This game also opened her up to speaking more than usual. I taught her about the card names and why the game was called go fish. I taught her vocabulary on outdoor activities like fishing. She was begging to play more when the session ended, so I think I will play this game with her again. However, her main focus is not speaking so I can not use it as often as I will with Andy.
