Joel TS#6

I met with Yuma again this week. We started off continuing speaking, just as we had the last couple of times. However, I had been noticing that he was making some important grammar mistakes, so this week I wanted to focus a bit more on grammar. I skipped over the small mistakes, the ones that were either really high level or didn’t change the meaning of the sentence at all. I tried to focus just on the big mistakes. So every time he made a big mistake, I wrote it down, and went over it, and explained the reason behind it. He also had some questions about certain grammar points that he had been wondering about, such as how to use ‘would,’ so I went over those and some various different uses. He said that he had some other questions but he couldn’t think of them at the moment and we were out of time. So he said he would write them down and we will work on them when we meet next time.
